Principal Member
A highly experienced INQS Member, Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS), RICS Registered Valuer, Namibia Estate Agents Board Member, and Project Manager, with over fifteen (15) years of practical experience managing concurrent civil, commercial, industrial, residential, and mixed-use construction projects across Namibia and the SADC region. He is a Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), an internationally recognised body renowned for upholding the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, service excellence, and technical expertise in the built environment sector. His extensive project portfolio across Namibia and the SADC region includes the successful delivery of over 1,000 housing units, more than 45 high-end residential houses in estates such as Finkenstein, as well as warehouses, showgrounds, sewer and water treatment plants, dams, sports fields, road infrastructure, and single- and multi-storey private and public developments. His expertise spans quantity surveying, tender documentation, cost planning, project management, contract management, project financial control, quality assurance, and property valuation, positioning him as a trusted professional in construction and property development within Namibia and the broader SADC region.
Johanness Groenewald
PM & Operations Manager
A highly regarded construction professional with more than forty (40) years of experience in the construction industry. He holds a degree and postgraduate qualification in education, along with numerous postgraduate qualifications in construction and project-related disciplines. He is the Founder and Owner of J. Groenewald Properties, a property development, estate agency, building, and civil construction company that originated from a previously disadvantaged member of Namibian society. He began his business in 1991 as a one-man operation building residential houses, registered the company as a Close Corporation in 1998, and subsequently expanded into larger and more complex projects in both the Government and Private sectors. His success is founded on a strong commitment to safety, client satisfaction, timely service delivery, quality control, and effective cost management. Under his leadership, J. Groenewald Properties has grown into a respected construction and property development firm known for reliability, integrity, and excellence in project execution.
Elmer Chimedza
Quantity Surveyor & Arbitrator
Mr. Elmer Chimedza is a Professional Quantity Surveyor and a Member of the Namibia Council of Architects and Quantity Surveyors (NCAQS), as well as a Member of the Institute of Namibia Quantity Surveyors (INQS). He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Arbitrators and has over thirteen (13) years of experience in quantity surveying and project management. His project portfolio includes multi-storey buildings valued at up to N$730 million, bulk water supply systems, pump stations, and civil engineering projects across both private and public sectors in Namibia and the SADC region. His core strength lies in problem-solving, developed through a diverse career working with property developers, independent quantity surveying firms, and large building and civil engineering contractors.
